Made by the same firm that manufactures U.S. currency paper (with their watermark), from premium 100% linen. Enamel-white polished surface. 28 lb. Provides a permanent, off-site means of identification of your documents and records in case of theft, and furnishes proof of existence of items following fire, flood, or destruction of the originals. An excellent way to make long-lasting reproductions of embrittled newspaper clippings, as well as all Class 1 (vital) and Class 2 (important) documents, providing instant inventory for insurance purposes, instead of time-consuming microfilming, scanning, or cataloguing. Based on the theory that fires will seldom if ever occur simultaneously in two places remote from each other, in today’s unpredictable times it is urged that the most important items in private and institutional collections be photocopied, to guard against loss. Specially coated with an invisible skin; even after exposure to a jet of cold water or a thorough soaking, this paper dries within two hours, retaining much of its original flatness. (Stability and chemical aspects of copy machine toner must be evaluated separately, and because of its newer time on the market, numerous proprietary formulations, and ever-changing offerings, are not warranted by us.
